Ad Altare Dei
From September 2006 through January 2007, the scouts in our Ad Altare Dei class have been working hard to earn their Catholic religious medals. The purpose of the AAD program is to help 13-14 year old Catholic Boy Scouts develop a fully Christian way of life in a faith community. The AAD program uses an in-depth study of the seven sacraments to accomplish this goal. Mrs. Jetter has been teaching the class.
On December 16, 2006, we held a tactical withdrawal (a.k.a. retreat) in the St. Thomas Aquinas youth room. During the retreat we made a banner for the church that displayed the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
